| Angler’s Club of New York – ANGLER’S CLUB BULLETIN (Vol. X., No 2) June, 1931 – Opening with an antiquated angling picture on the inside front cover hilariously captioned with names depicting the old anglers as current anglers such as Ed Hewitt, this issue is full of the news of the day. Ed Hewitt chimes in with an article entitled; The New Catskill Aqueduct Project. A book review by none other than Eugene Connett critiquing Hewitt’s “Better Trout Streams” among others. Other articles include a tongue-in-cheek article by F.W. Randebrock; The Flies Have It, Dr. George Parker Holden offers Tying The Bivisible and gracing the inside back cover is a wonderful and historic photo of Hewitt’s camp on the Neversink complete with a line-up of the camp’s members. This was truly the golden age of American trout fishing and these little booklets fortunately preserve that history. – Very Good for 1931 - $55.00
