Blake, W.H. – BROWN WATERS – 1915 1st edition – 264p – Macmillan, Toronto – This is a very nice copy of a very rare book. A classic and scarce Canadian fishing book which was reprinted in 1940 with an introduction by Lord Tweedsmuir (aka John Buchan), who called Blake’s book an angling classic which deserves a niche in the pantheon of English letters. Blake also published a little book on angling philosophy entitled “A Fisherman’s Creed” in 1923 which you will find in my listings below this book. – An interesting book that in this first edition is also a very hard to find collectible copy. – Book is in very good condition. - $150.00
