This book although well-known for the six beautiful color plates of salmon and trout flies, deals with much more than just salmon and trout fishing. It is instead true to its title and touches on all forms of angling. It also contains reproductions of engravings of early lures, fly tying tools and other classic tackle. As you can see by viewing the accompanying photos, this is a handsomely done production with leather binding, raised hubs, both the top edge of the book and the lettering in gilt with a sewn in silk book marker.
