Haig-Brown, Roderick – A RIVER NEVER SLEEPS – 1948 1st edition – 320p – Collins, London – This author is a bit like Lay’s potato chips, no one can eat just one. With Haig-Brown, if you read one of his books, you will want to read them all. This is another of his classics describing year-round angling on all types of water. Nothing pleases me more as a angling book dealer than to find these old classics so well preserved. This copy is an extremely nice copy with a whole colorful dust jacket, with just a hint of foxing to the front panel. The jacket has small chips at the top and bottom of the spine, but is otherwise a very rare whole, unclipped jacket. Book is fine with no owner’s signatures, other writing or marks of any kind. A nice collectible - $100.00
