Haig-Brown, Roderick – FISHERMAN’S SPRING – 1951 1st edition – 253p – Morrow, NY – From the Buffalo Evening News: “Roderick writes much as Thoreau might have written if he had solved his personal equation and dipped his pen in contentment.” I really wish I had said that, it has a nice ring to it. – This is the first of Haig-Brown’s classic season’s books. The book itself is in fine condition with crisp clear text. The rather rare dust jacket is also very good with edge wear only. Unfortunately some well meaning soul taped the front and back panels of the dust jacket to the inside flaps which does not really hurt anything but as a result the tape marks are present. – book is fine in very good dust jacket with tape marks. - $75.00 |
