I knew Vince personally and what I remember most was that he had a very analytical mind when it came to angling and how well that served him when he penned this masterpiece of trout and river study and his later book “In the Ring of the Rise.” This particular book in this first edition is difficult to find, but not nearly as hard to find as one with a decent dust jacket as this book’s original jacket was of composed of fragile disintegrating material. – fine in - for this book – a very good dust jacket with a piece missing from the backside - $160.00
