Page 110 is a full color plate of flies and was prepared by Mary Orvis Marbury, daughter of Charles F. Orvis founder of the renown Orvis tackle company. – This book is notoriously fragile and is extremely difficult to find even in fair condition. As you can see by viewing the accompanying photos, this book is in unusually good condition. It does exhibit some of the usual flaking of the spine inherent with this book but retains the little sticker with the title. The front hinge is starting but should not be a problem. There is a signature on the free front end paper and a bit of paper surface disrupted also on the end paper. The book exhibits absolutely no foxing with the text as clear as a bell. For this rare 1902 fragile book – Very good plus - $275.00
