Sage, Dean – SALMON AND TROUT – 1924 issue of 1902 1st – 417p – Macmillan, NY – The author of this book also penned what is considered, along with perhaps Kelson’s “The Salmon Fly”, one of the most popular, thus high priced salmon books ever written. "The Restigouche and its Salmon Fishing" is hailed as one of the finest works on salmon fishing ever written. This work, though not quite as famous, is another book well worth reading. The topics cover just about everything related to the pursuit of trout and the king of fishes, the salmon. – Book is near fine with former owner’s name very neatly written on inside front cover with very small sticker also on inside front cover. Neither of which are in any way obtrusive. - $40.00
